Co-Founder and Chairman: Wildlife ACT
I got into the conservation sector by accident really. Although I enjoyed going to the bush as a youngster, it was only after meeting my two fellow Wildlife ACT co-founders, Chris Kelly and Simon Morgan, that I really got interested in biodiversity conservation. I’ve learnt so much from Simon and Chris and I’m very proud of what we have achieved in the last 10 years.
On the sporting front my most recent achievement is winning my kids’ primary school fathers sack race – completely nailed it.
The furthest I’ve ever run in my life is 13km (12 years ago).
Completing the Rhino Peak Challenge will be right up there with my best sporting accomplishments.
It’s a unique initiative and we feel honoured that Rhino Peak Challenge has chosen Wildlife ACT as donor partner. We see a bright future for the event, not only to help raise funds for our conservation efforts, but also to raise awareness of the challenges facing the endangered species Wildlife ACT helps save every day.
